中山大学人工智能学院副院长，教授、博士生导师，广东省大数据分析与处理重点实验室主任、广东省大数据管理与应用工程技术研究中心主任。

主要研究方向包括数据挖掘、人工智能、机器学习等。近年来，在包括IEEE Trans. 等国际著名期刊和KDD、AAAI、ACL、NeurIPS等国际会议上发表论文100多篇。出版著译著三部，科研成果共四次获得广东省科技进步奖一等奖、二等奖、三等奖和中华中医药学会科技奖一等奖。

Jian Yin received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Wuhan University, China, in 1989, 1991, and 1994, respectively, all in computer science. He joined Sun Yat-Sen University in July 1994 and now he is a professor of Artificial Intelligence School. He has published more than 100 refereed journal and conference papers. His current research interests are in the areas of Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. He is a senior member of China Computer Federation.
